Today we went to the National Eagle Center in Minnesota. They had 3 eagles who had been injured and rehabilitated but cannot be re-released into the wild, and are now used for educational purposes…
There was Donald the Golden Eagle who was hit by a car and broke his wing.
There was Columbia the Bald Eagle, who was also injured by a car.
Then there was Was’aka (which means “Strength”), who is blind in his left eye, which could be life-threatening if he tried to hunt.
